The SALT iConnections NY Key Art was not originally designed by Choyce Creative, however, we’ve made some modifications to it over the last two years of producing this conference for SALT and iConnections.
SALT iConnections NY 2024 featured 1 general session stage, hosting a wide variety of sessions throughout two content days. In order to introduce speakers during these sessions, we didn’t want to just do some simple VOGs, we decided to create animated speaker walk on graphics which made everything feel more like a show.
Because the stage features a large LED wall behind the speakers, we built the walk ons into 3 different assets. The first being an animate in, transitioning from the show logo to reveal the speakers, a second adding in an animated step and repeat, and the third transitioning out back into the show logo. You can see fully assembled examples below.
You’ll also notice the difference in color between these two examples, that’s because the Glasshouse is a wide open space with windows surrounding almost all sides, because of this, we themed the colors of our content to represent different times of day, which also helped set the tone for each block of sessions.
Throughout the Glasshouse, we hung multiple TVs in strategic locations, allowing us to showcase both a live feed from the main stage, but also promotional material for the event, other events from SALT & iConnections, and sponsor logos/content. One of the key things we did with these screens was promote upcoming sessions during the event to help ensure attendees knew what was happening when on the stage.
One major asset we included on all of the screens throughout Glasshouse was a sponsor loop, this showcased all the event sponsors, ensuring they get the exposure they were expecting during the event. This loop also ran on the LED wall in the main stage while we were on session breaks.
We also included static graphics for our Break and Lunch sponsors in our digital signage loop, this ensured those sponsors were properly recognized.
Like most events in 2024, SALT iConnections New York decided to live stream their sessions to both YouTube and the iConnections platform. Because of this, we built lower third graphics for speakers and a sponsor bug that was featured on the YouTube stream to ensure their sponsor had proper recognition.
We’ll be in touch shortly to schedule a meeting and figure out how to make someone else do your video work so you’ve got more time to do things you love!
